Our Off-Road driving experience voucher allows you challenge your 4×4 driving skills in a very challenging off-road park, you will learn to use the unique capabilities of a Hilux 4×4 vehicle, boasting 4 wheel drive, locking rear differentials and aggressive mud terrain tyres. Valid for one year, this voucher is the perfect gift for all ages and for any occasion, or why not treat yourself! it includes up to 2 spectators, perhaps friends or family, who can join you for the ride, or stand safely back and take photos of your off-road driving heroics, with Free Tea and Coffee and most importantly, Cake for all! Hilux 4×4 Off-Road Driving Experience Important Information:
We operate on a pre-booked basis only. We cannot guarantee any booking request date and require at least four weeks notice (although we’ll always try our best to accommodate you). We recommend that if you have very limited availability, or that you wish to book the experience for a specific date, that you call or email us prior to purchase. If you are unsure of your availability or flexibility, please contact us before purchasing a voucher.

How long will the Hilux driving Experience last and how much off-road driving time will I get?
This completely private 4×4 driving experience lasts approximately 1 Hour from your chosen start time to finish. The driving experience time may vary, depending on how quickly you can learn, your current skill and experience levels and how much tea and cake you like to have, but typically it’s at least 30 minutes or more of mud plugging, 4×4 Off-road driving and very challenging excitement!
To book, simply contact us with your Experience voucher number and we’ll arrange a date and time that suits you. When you arrive on the day, and before your driving experience we’ll provide some basic knowledge on the 4×4 Vehicle, including guidance on its safe operation.
Throughout the private off-road driving experience, you will have plenty of time to drive and will always be under the supervision of our expert instructor, ready to answer questions and provide guidance. After the experience, you’ll return to base to enjoy some tea and cake! Spectators will themselves have a brilliant time as they can jump in with your or can take photos or video from a safe viewing position on the course throughout the experience.

Bought the go kart experience as a gift for my partner for his bday. We went together in January. Couldn't recommend it enough, we had so much fun, the instructor was great and we haven't stopped talking about it since!
What a fantastic day!!!Jim and his team could not be more welcoming, going above and beyond for our group.The APC and Unimog were my particular favourites although the G-Wagon took a lot of finesse and a bit more technical to drive through the deep ruts, wading through the deeper water and climbing the slippery steeper undulation!Highly recommended for a good laugh, great experience and come away having learnt something new!

The tank driving experience was a 70th birthday gift. Paul and Sam were very friendly and welcoming. Great tuition and the actual driving was fantastic fun. The rest of the family enjoyed the safari truck to watch and take photos.We all had a great day, 10 out of 10.
Absolutely fab afternoon - I drove the G wagon, the Unimog and the tank and it was so much fun. Jim is very patient and even took me to and from the station. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant day. I got to drive the tank and the unimog as a birthday present. Clive was so good and welcoming. He was really reassuring and made the experience fun and exciting. Highly recommend as this is a must do experience. The course is great with lots of obstacles to navigate

I wanted to book a military experience for my military mad son for his 10th Birthday, and having looked all over came across Tanks’N’Trucks. I can honestly say they really delivered and the end experience was something I never imagined he could be part of. From my initial enquiry trying to see if it would be possible for him to have an experience, to his end party with 5 friends, the team continued to impress. Anyone looking for a party with a difference for your child, I strongly recommend one here.The level of professionalism from everyone involved throughout, and the organisation and energised experience on the day was second to none.The team ensured no time was wasted and the children experienced a good length of ride in a range of vehicles, including a tank and they also got to experience shooting with different weapons. All of the children were constantly praised and hearing the excitement in their voices throughout was lovely.The whole experience was amazing, but for me being able to ride alongside my son as he drove the Unimog completed it. Jim’s calm and patient nature, (mine less so) made sure he remained confident throughout and had the biggest smile.Throughout the afternoon all I kept hearing from children and parents alike was, that it was the best party they had ever been to. So Thank You to an amazing and passionate team, for making a little boy, his mum and his friends very happy. We look forward to coming again for another driving experience soon!
I received the tank driving experience as a Birthday present from my husband, and it definitely was one of the best things I’ve ever done. A tank is probably the coolest and most fun thing I’ve ever thought of driving (for now). It is surprisingly responsive to steering! Loved every minute of it.The way everything was organised was very thorough: first, we both got to ride in the back of the tank as passengers, to get a feel for it. I was given a noise-cancelling headset with a mic so I could hear and speak with Paul over the noise of the tank, and protective glasses. The instruction from Paul was clear and thorough. I knew what I was doing and why.My husband was in a Pinzgauer truck with Jim driving, and they went chasing after the tank, stopping to take pictures, so he had a great time too.The site is quite big and it is a proper off-road course.Jim and Paul are very passionate about what they do; it was great to have a chat with them over a tea after the drive.Before this review gets too long - an unforgettable experience. Super happy and hoping to coming back!

Unlike pretty much every other Military Tank, Truck or 4×4 Experience out there, unless stated otherwise, all our off-road Driving Experiences are completely Private and just for you and your guests to enjoy. This means more time driving a 4×4, with dedicated 121 instruction, and a more exclusive and enjoyable experience for you and your guests to remember!
Cancellation Policy
You must provide at least 3 Days notice in writing by email to cancel or postpone your experience before your booking start time. Failure to cancel or reschedule your booking before this time will result in your Voucher being deemed as used. In all instances, the experience voucher is non refundable.
