The G-Wagon gets its name from Geländewagen, German for “cross-country vehicle”, the German Bundeswehr nicknamed it WOLF, as it could go anywhere, was fast and could insert troops in almost any terrain. A legendary recce and fast attack vehicle, now here in Kent for you to drive and experience!
The G-Wagon is an offshoot of the engineers and designers behind another legendary Vehicle the UNIMOG (which you can drive here at IMPERIUM). It’s basically a mini version of that huge offroad beast. It features a bullet proof OM602 diesel engine, often referred to as a million mile engine, because they just don’t break. It has a low range gear box, a crawler gear, four wheel drive, and front and rear locking differentials, which means all the power of the engine can be transferred to whichever wheel just happens to be touching the ground, and when combined with huge mud terrain tyres, and a little skill behind the wheel you have a vehicle that will traverse all kinds of difficult terrain.
The G-Wagon is now a status symbol, but you’re unlikely to see one of those luxury variants gettings its wheels muddy or risking a scratched panel, but here on the BattleGrounds of IMPERIUM our WOLF is ready to take you wherever you want to go and give you a military driving experience for you and your passengers to remember!
